I have a template created by someone in my company in Germany (Im in the US). Yet only one of these content control fields are allowing me to create a list or carriage returns within. Go down to Keyboard shortcuts and click Customize. In comparing the one that works, I cant identify a difference. Oddly I have one a document with 5 content controls that I cant edit, but 1 that I can. Ive tripled checked that the content controls properties have the 'Locking' section unchecked. * Apparently all of the fields were "linked" or something, since I had previously deleted all fields and replaced with fresh RT fields under the advice of GPT as a result the Placeholder text/spacing was controlled by only the first field, which would reflect on all of the others. That part is working well, but after created I cannot edit the text within the content control. Resolved all fields then got to editing Placeholder text. (please note that this you can do programmatically not directly with Word Online in other words. Right now you folks can insert, have access to content controls in documents, you can also edit them in Word Online. * Then, it wouldn't allow me to make carriage returns or a list at all, and I had to fiddle around aimlessly until it suddenly worked. Just for the record and close the loop on this discussion, rich text content controls in Word onlines are now supported. That I was able to resolve with a Style Separator, after discovering the specific way to create one properly. * First, when creating a list within the content control box, it would bullet before the text that preceded the content control. I have spent far far too long locked in battle with a form template.įor some reason I just cannot get these Rich text content controls to cooperate. ![]()
